China Camp State Park & the Stewards of San Pedro Mountain present an International Earth Day bash!
OK, we're actually just pulling French broom, but it will be a fun event with expansive views of Mt. Tamalpais, Mt. Hamilton, San Pablo Bay and the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge. Here are the details:
WHAT: ∙ INVASIVE SPECIES REMOVAL & TRAIL RESTORATION
WHEN: Saturday, March 17 (9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.).
In case of heavy rain, event postponed to Sunday, March 18.
WHERE: CHINA CAMP at BEECHWOOD CT (see below)
SPONSOR: China Camp State Park & Stewards of San Pedro Mtn
Seeking volunteers to assist remove French Broom & Scotch Broom from China Camp State Park on Saturday, March 17. Tools & gloves will be provided. Please wear sturdy shoes & protective clothing; sunblock & water recommended. (Minors require parental authorization).

Directions: From San Rafael, east on 2nd St/Pt San Pedro Rd. Left on Knight Dr for ½ mile. Left on Rollingwood Dr. Park on Rollingwood at Beechwood Ct. Walk 200 yards up trail at end of Beechwood Ct.
