The BALLE 5th Annual Conference will bring together innovators and entrepreneurs who believe in developing local living economies. The conference will facilitate the sharing and learning of ideas on creating an economy that preserves community character and vitality, promotes economic justice, and protects ecological health and diversity.

Featured speakers include author and entrepreneur Paul Hawken, of the Natural Capital Institute; lawyer and activist Van Jones of Ella Baker Center for Human Rights; author David Korten of Yes! Magazine, Bo Burlingham of Inc. Magazine, and many more
