18TH AND CASTRO

In collaboration with ACT UP NY’s 20 year anniversary action we are busy planning a festive die-in and real estate tour of the ever so scary Castro on March 29th at 12pm SHARP. The action is being organized around the idea of “Healthcare and Housing for ALL!” in wanting to link the need for free housing along with healthcare . The Castro has recently been called the “AIDS eviction capital of the world”. Throughout San Francisco, people with AIDS, and other low-income folks have been forced out of their homes to make way for remodeling, owner move-ins and condo conversions.

Location, Location, Location

What: AIDS evection caravan and die-in
Where: Meet at the corner of Castro and 18th Street
When: Thursday March 29 at 12 PM SHARP.
Why: Because the AIDS crises is not over.

Fighting AIDS profiteers means fighting drug companies, insurance companies and all those that profit off our deaths! Health care and housing for all!

So get your real estate agent getups, business cards out of the closet and get ready for a realtors caravan and die-in this March 29th, 12 PM at the Corner of Castro and 18th Street.
