Please join Planned Parenthood Golden Gate (PPGG) to commemorate women's history month and celebrate local women who are making history happen today.
When: Thursday, March 15th 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Where: LGBT Community Center
1800 Market St, San Francisco
PPGG is proud to honor:
The Honorable Mary Hayashi, the first Korean-American to join the California State Assembly.
Del Martin and Phyllis Lyon, the first lesbian couple married in San Francisco.
Beth Parker, the San Francisco attorney that successfully challenged the federal
abortion ban in Planned Parenthood v. Gonzalez in the 9th Circuit.
Local Labor Leaders, who led the historic fight to persuade the State Labor Federation
to take a "NO" position on Proposition 85.
Light refreshments and Q & A session to follow presentation of awards and speaker panel.
