Artist Reception: Indian Ghosts at California Missions & We Are Still Here

Artist Reception for a show about the experience of the California Indians within the Mission system, displayed in a private gallery two blocks from Mission San Juan Bautista. The photographic exhibit tells the story of cultural conflict within the missions. We Are Still Here is a wall of photographs of those who are descended from Indians who were a part of that system. Many Indian People will be on hand at the reception to sing their ancient songs wearing native regalia.
