Come and celebrate DURAN RUIZ,ACTIVIST FOR SEX WORKER RIGHTS. She died Feb.2,2007 after a lengthy illness. A spoken word artist, painter and poet , she used her art and brilliant wit to fight for equal protection and justice for sex workers. Imprisoned many times, she was an ardent witness against police state oppression of sex workers.
