When Europeans enslaved African people, they took our self-determination away. African people organized in our own interest with our allies will challenge the U.S. imposed drug economy and violence in our community that benefits the white world today just as slavery did before.
The International People's Democratic Uhuru Movement is holding this forum to advance the basic democratic rights of African people to solve the problems of violence and other pressing issues such as the lack of genuine economic development, quality housing, education and health care.
