The forum will include a showing of the DVD “The Legacy of Torture: The War Against the Black Liberation Movement” and a discussion on the recent arrests of veterans of the Black Power Movement who were tortured and framed for something that happened 36 years ago. In addition, attendees will learn about the Liberty City 7, the case of African men from Miami’s most impoverished neighborhood falsely accused of “conspiracy” charges.

Wendy Snyder, member of the African People’s Solidarity Committee will address the responsibility of white people to take a stand for African liberation.
