Thanks to those putting on this seminar. A prior seminar, featuring lawyer Katya Komisaric, was creative, funny, educational, and fun. I recommend everyone attend.
Here's the problem...while it's great to know your rights, I'm not convinced that the attitude that screwing around with the cops should be "creative", "funny" or "fun" is real smart. I realize that it generally is for Robert, but this is not normal behavior for those of us who have real day-to-day issues, such as discrimination and so on. Treating this as some sort of game, which it is for Robert, is exactly the kind of thing that invites even more of this sort of treatment from the powers-that-be.
Actually the struggle to secure rights and maintain them is a long-term affair. And we'd better dance as we go, or we won't get much dancing in.
