Mumia Abu-Jamal, a radical investigative journalist and critic of the Philadelphia Police Department, has been on death row for nearly 25 years for a murder he did not commit. From behind bars, he continues his weekly radio commentary "Live From Death Row," heard nationally on many radio stations, while fighting to prove his innocence. All are welcome to an evening of spoken word, performance and dialog highlighting Mumia’s struggle and work as the “voice of the voiceless,” featuring Rudy and United Playaz, JR and the Prisoners of Consciousness Committee, and revolutionary journalist Kiilu Nyasha.
