How do we take the healing of ourselves and our world to the next level? Why is consciousness so important in making long-term change and sustainability feasible? How can we utilize consciousness to take the leap into making a better world for ourselves and others? All of these questions and more will be answered in this dynamic and embodied class on visionary activism.
What you will gain from taking this class:
• Understand the evolution of consciousness, its relationship to the “New Science” and how we can utilize these perspectives to shift our current paradigm.
• Explore how the law off attraction can be fully utilized in co-creating our reality.
• Learn about the history of non-violence and how to implement it in your own life as well as how it can be utilized in the healing of our world.
• Learn from the transformative experience of diving down into your soul and mining it for your true gift.
• Become empowered by acknowledging your gift and define how to bring it out into the world
• Learn from a whole-brain perspective in which cognitive, experiential and embodied processes are utilized.
• Learn more about your reality, yourself and how you can uniquely help in the healing of our world.
Melissa Patterson, N.D., MIM, is the Director and Core Faculty of the Consciousness, Healing and Ecology concentration at New College of California North Bay. She is currently writing a book on Visionary Activism and is a long term student on how healing ourselves and others can change our world. She is a naturopathic physician and completed the naturopathic doctoral program at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ. She has been an instructor in holistic healing and consciousness studies for over a decade. She also has numerous certifications in holistic healing modalities in which consciousness and the mind-body relationship are addressed. She is an avid environmentalist and visionary activist and firmly believes that through understanding consciousness (our own and others), the interrelationships to all of life and our own inherent gifts we can greatly contribute to the healing of our planet.
