A Clever Little Fox Needs Your Creative Skills
To Help Bay Area Children’s Literacy
A very clever little fox needs your creative skills to help disadvantaged Bay Area kids develop reading and thinking skills. Help make felt board characters for the acclaimed Hoopoe children’s book, "The Man and the Fox," which will be used in teacher-training workshops conducted by Hoopoe Books Share Literacy™ Program (http://www.shareliteracy.org). All materials and supplies provided. Saturday, December 9th, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Los Altos Public Library, Program Room, 13 S. San Antonio Road, Los Altos. Contact Kara at (408) 872-1484 or e-mail: shareliteracy [at] comcast.net.
#######
The Share Literacy™ Program provides books and related literacy materials to disadvantaged children, their families and teachers nationwide through established literacy-partner programs. Share Literacy is able to provide these materials thanks to tax-deductible donations and grants from concerned businesses, foundations and individuals, which offset production, printing and distribution costs. Share Literacy itself depends upon the help of volunteers whose work makes everything possible.
