animal legal defense fund (ALDF) and kim sturla of animal place.
STATION 40, 3030b Mission Street (16th & Mission), 9 november 2006, 7pm,
refreshments provided.
ALDF was founded in 1979. They fight to protect the lives and advance the
interests of animals using the legal system. Animal Place, founded in 1989,
is a nonprofit sanctuary for abused and discarded farmed animals. They also
provide educational programs for adults and children.
