there is a relationship between how the numbers at these marches are becoming smaller, and how everyone knows what is going to happen at these permitted, predictable, liberal, pacifist-only marches..it isnt like all of a sudden thousands of people in san francisco just became pro-war..
But I wonder if its because San Francisco has become anti-ANSWER.
Bob Avarkians folks were busy scraping off ANSWER stickers for weeks. ANSWER isn't able to mobilize the left anymore, much less the center. We need a new movement- a peoples movement. ANSWER ain't it.

Protesting and rallying only goes so far.
i think that its been proven that rallying, permitted protests, petitions, etc. does not actually slow down or stop war, as was particularly shown by the world-wide, biggest-protests-ever-seen before the war started, and how that didnt even stop anything..these tactics only can go so far as to raise awareness, and get other people involved..but we must go further, and realize that the law is not always right, and start using tactics that will ACTUALLY FUCK UP the war..
