Come to a free film screening of the Academy Award winning documentary Broken Rainbow, followed by a discussion about the continued struggles of of the Navajo Nation. Narated by Martin Sheen, Broken Rainbow documents the forced relocation of over 15,000 Navajo from their ancestral land Black Mesa by U.S. policies that promote corporate profits over indigenous rights. Q & A will follow the film along with a presentation on an upcoming solidarity caravan to Black Mesa.
