Meyers' motion to dismiss turned down by Judge!
Gabriel Meyers walked out of court angry today after superior court judge ruled against him and allowed the SF district attorney's office to proceed with a felony criminal charge that Meyers attempted to lynch himself at the now infamous anti- G8 demonstration in July of 2005. Meyers made a statement to the court before he left today that he feels that the government is "railroading and scapegoating" him. He and his supporters have alleged from the beginning that the charges against him are being pursued simply because the individual who hit and injured offficer peter sheilds that night, is still at large. Gabriel Meyers is set to begin trial on December 8th.

Get a lawyer. Those fools from the public defenders office are not going to get you anywhere. Most of the lawyers at the public defenders office are fat lazy slobs. Realize it now and you may be free later.
How come no one has ever mentioned that the protesters were merely defending themselves against an aggressor. That is why the cop got hit. We defended ourselves.
