Los maestros de Oaxaca han estado en huelga desde el 22 de mayo para proteger la educacion publica y para oponerse a un gobierno local corupto. La lucha ha sido apoyada por grupos comunitarios en Oaxaca y se ha convertido en una lucha social de la gente de Oaxaca en contra un estado represario.
La gente y los maestros de Oaxaca necesitan tu apoyo y solidaridad. Ven a una presentacion sobre el estado de la lucha de los maestros en Oaxaca. Se presentara Fernando Mendoza Perez, un maestro de Oaxaca y lider en el APPO (Asemblea Popular de los Pueblos de Oaxaca).

Since May 22, teachers in Oaxaca have been on strike to protect public education and to oppose a corrupt local government. Their struggle has been supported
by community groups in Oaxaca, and has developed into a social struggle pitting
the people of Oaxaca against a repressive state.
The teachers and people of Oaxaca need your support and solidarity.
