Election Redirected: SC Republican Official "Steals" Dem Website in Order to Trick Voters
A Santa Cruz County Republican Official who is on the Republican Central Committe appears to have been a part of scheme to create dummy mirror websites of the local County Dems site --- but with Republican candidate endorsements. The operation bought up domain names similar to the County Dems site and then redirected them to their phony site.
If anyone had any questions about if the corruption of the federal-level Republicans filtered down to the grass-roots, guess no longer! This example of appaling trickery and outright forgery may have some consequences. This type of election tampering is illegal in California.
Make sure that this case is followed-up on people are prosecuted.......and hide your kids!
Kudos to writer of the locally-based Good Times magazine for breaking this story.
