After being denied entry to Israel in June, 2006, he spoke in Lebanon and Jordan on the topic of international solidarity with the Palestinian nonviolent resistance movement. He returned to the U.S. just as the Israeli invasion of Lebanon was beginning but went to Lebanon again almost immediately to help support a nonviolent resistance movement there, to participate in solidarity actions and to witness and document the events.
