Ron Sider, M.Div., Ph.D. (Yale), Evangelicals for Social Action. Faced with the glaring needs and blatant injustice of the inner city, Ron began to work toward developing a biblical response to social injustice. He is the author of the ground-breaking book, "Rich Christians in an Age of Hunger" which has sold over 350,000 copies. Ron also founded Evangelicals for Social Action (ESA).

This event is part of Christian Social Justice Week occurring at UCSC during the week of October 16-20th.
