Palo Alto: Film: Iraq for Sale: the war profiteers with speaker Dahr Jamail

Acclaimed director Robert Greenwald takes you inside the lives of soldiers, truck drivers, widows and children who have been changed forever as a result of profiteering in the reconstruction of Iraq. The film uncovers the connections between a small group of private U.S. companies that have made literally billions of dollars doing jobs that the military used to do on its own. After the screening Dahr Jamail will lead discussion. Dahr has been reporting from Iraq since 2003 as a rare independent journalist. He was weary of the failure of US media to accurately report on the realities of the war.
