Vote Health wants to invite you to our next meeting in Oakland on September 18, when our guest speaker will be Dr. Richard Quint, an activist in the California Physicians Alliance (CaPA). Now that a single payer bill, SB 840, has passed the state legislature and is headed to the governor's desk, Dr. Quint will compare SB 840 to health care reform efforts in San Francisco, Massachusetts, and Maryland.

There is street parking, and the CNA office is one block from the 19th Street BART station (exit through the 20th Street stairs).
