The San Francisco League of Young Voters is calling together young people from around the bay area to compete for prizes and pride, and to voice our opinions of Arnold and the current political climate of this country. The event will feature a poetry competition between 12 local poets, and will feature performances by Ill-Literacy, and local female MCs Rhapsodistas. We will be displaying work from local artists, registering voters, and providing information on the upcoming election as well. So come support the League and help get Arnold out of office.
Who: The League of Young Voters
What: Slam Arnold poetry Competition
Where: Balazo gallery 2183 Mission St.@ 18th St.
Attending: All ages event with bar for 21 over w/ i.d.
Why: To Raise funds for League of Young Voters on-campus and city wide Election Work.
cost: $10-$25 sliding scale and discount for under 18. no one turned away for lack of funds.
