Celebrating Mexican Independence Day:
Mexico's Revolutionary Legacy Lives On
As free trade policies continue to ravage Mexico, enriching the tiny elite and further impoverishing the masses, the people of Mexico draw upon a rich history of anti-imperialist and revolutionary struggle in their battle for social justice.
What began as a teachers' strike in Oaxaca has become a militant popular movement confronting the capitalist state. At the same time, popular mobilization in the capitol is continuing against the vote fraud. Learn more about these struggles and the impact they are having in Mexico.
Join us for analysis and discussion.
