The up and coming Gallery One San Francisco announces its next art exhibit entitled Revelations. Following the successful Cuban Artist exhibit, this next installment promises to take another ambitious step forward. Revelations runs August 21 through October 21, including a week long celebration of all art forms. This show acts as a serving ground for the Resident Artists of Gallery One. The staff that greet you at the gallery are also the artists that create their work in house. A burgeoning hotspot for new artists, both visual and performing, this Financial District gallery is one to keep your eye on.
Revelations is a group assertion of the creative force in all of us. The Resident Artists of Gallery One are prepared to take art lovers to places unvisited. The Revelations exhibit allows this able group to openly express the themes that are nearest and dearest to their hearts. Some of those themes include light in nature, self exploration, and the ever present search for new consciousness. We invite you to come discover new ways to view the every day revelations that surround you.
Included in the roster of featured artists are:
Kristin Clippard, Contajus Remedy, Christian "Dicky" Davies, Talia Lipskind, Janelle Randall, Misha Ferguson, and Ector Garcia . If you want to view some of San Francisco’s cutting edge talent, then look no further than Gallery One.
The Opening Reception and Autumn Equinox celebration will be held Friday, September 22, 6 -11pm. There will be featured performances, including Kristin Clippard’s Wild Child on September 23 and 27 at 8pm. Misha Ferguson will lead a Spoken Word Open Mic on September 29. Alternative musical stylings by Diana Nucera will be featured on September 26. Each night of the week will offer something different, so please join Gallery One for Revelations September 22-30. A closing reception will be held on October 21, 6-11pm.
Gallery One San Francisco is located at One Embarcadero Center on the lobby (second) level, San Francisco, CA 94111. Call 415.772.9008 for more information. Please visit our website: http://www.galleryonesf.net
