The Hardrush Independent Music Awards are to be held in Melbourne on 25 August 2006. Featuring a wide range of genres, the awards recognise the effort and influence of independent artists on the music market. Whilst the 4 major labels dominate airplay, it the independent musicians that tour the nations and provide the commentary aas well as stir cultural change and challenges in society.
