We'll be at Lighthouse Beach (the one next to the lighthouse, next to Lighthouse Field on West Cliff)
Hey, next weekend we have a Trash Orchestra Sundown Performance and Practice at the beach. The location is unchanged from the one printed on the calendar. (Though, you may have noticed that the times on the front of the calendar are wrong)
So we'll be at Lighthouse Beach (the one next to the lighthouse, next to Lighthouse Field on West Cliff). The time will be 5pm to 7pm Saturday July 22nd. Look for the big blue trash orchestra barrels.
Here are the details. Hope you can make it. Bring your trash orchestra instruments.
Trash Orchestra Sundown Performance Lighthouse Beach
with Rico, Kris, & Daniel
We dream of marching in a percussion band made of trash, a bone-shaking recycled orchestra, a superhero sonic force of resistance to be reckoned with. We'll make percussion on tuned cans, hubcaps, and barrels, pieces of sheet metal. We'll practice signals, breaks, rhythms, and might even throw in some Balinese Monkey Chant. Requirements: Bring your courage, your passion, your righteous anger. Come with your recycled instruments already created. Drums are welcome, but be warned this ain't no jam session.
