We will meet at 7 pm at the office of the Bay Area Coalition for
Headwaters, in the Ecology Center building at 2530 San Pablo Ave., Berkeley (betw Parker and Dwight, west Berkeley) closest BART is North Berkeley. We will send out a notice about the actual event in San Francisco, likely taking place mid-day on Thursday, July 20 on Monday.

The annual meeting of the American Legislative Exchange Council, or ALEC will take place in San Francisco July 19-23. Why should you care, you ask—you likely haven’t even heard of them—part of the point, my friend. Funded primarily by large corporations, industry groups, and conservative foundations, ALEC is one of the nation’s most powerful and least known corporate lobbies.
