samo-wilmo-tek presents Bay Area electronic artists K. Atchley, John Bischoff, Tim Perkis and Kattt Sammon
K. Atchley will premier a new assisted-installation that features interactive video & electronic sound, & a performance by the composer. The untitled work is described as "an observance of the sunset on the occasion of Samuel Beckett's centenary birthday".
Tim Perkis will premier a new solo work "absolute"
John Bischoff will perform "Piano 7HZ", featuring contact-mic-driven sample fragments, & Local Color, which constructs synthetic bell patterns complemented by pure-tone drones
Kattt Sammon will present her electronic piece "Desire", "Lullaby" (song duet with K. Atchley), & premiere an "Influctuatistic" work (under the guidance of Guillermo Galindo) that uses voice, press 'n seal, re-figured plastic coke bottle, contact & dynamic microphones.
