Subject: Announcing a New Farmer's Market in North Oakland!

Dear North Oakland Neighbors -

My office and I have been working with the Temescal Telegraph Business Improvement District (BID) for the past year to bring the Temescal and Rockridge neighborhoods a farmer's market. I am delighted to announce the opening of a new farmer's market on Sunday, July 16th.

Temescal and Rockridge neighbors have been asking for a local place to shop for fresh fruits and vegetables for a long time. The new farmer's market answers those requests.

In addition to fresh produce, the market will sell flowers, baked goods and fresh fish. We will also be entertained by local musicians performing every week.

The taste of fresh picked vegetables and fruit can't be beat. Also, for urban dweller like us, it's always fun to get to know our local California farmers.

Please join me and the Temescal Telegraph BID for the grand opening (precise time to be announced in a subsequent email).
