The Axis Gallery, at 1517 19th Street (between O and P streets), Sacramento
Please join us this Saturday, July 8th, from 6pm to 8pm, in front of The Axis Gallery, at 1517 19th Street (between O and P streets), Sacramento, for a "Peace Demonstration with Protest Art."
This Saturday is Sacramento's monthly "Second Saturday Art Walk," and The Axis Gallery will host an exhibition sponsored by Sacramento's Peace Arts Exchange. The gallery reception will be from 6 to 9pm this Saturday. The exhibition, titled "The Truth As We Know It," and its theme, "Peace On Earth," allows an ideal opportunity for us to hold a complementary peace event outside that incorporates protest art (the exhibition sponsors support the idea, too!).
Just to be clear, any protest art that we bring would NOT be part of the Axis Gallery indoor exhibition. Our stuff would be outside and be part of our "Peace Demonstration with Protest Art."
Whether or not you can participate in the demonstration, we're all welcome to attend the Axis Gallery reception. If you're interested in combining an art-inspired peace demonstration with a lively Second Saturday art
reception, please come out and join us. A lot of people will be visiting the gallery, and this will be a great chance to engage people in conversation about world peace.
