The Agape Foundation-Fund for Nonviolent Social Change is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals for the Board of Trustees Fall 2006 grant cycle. We welcome proposals from small, California-based, grassroots organizations working for nonviolent social change.
Agape funds organizations that are addressing the following issues:
Peace, Human Rights, Environmental Protection, Economic Justice,
Progressive Arts & Media, and Grassroots Organizing Support.
Organizations must be five years old or younger, with annual budgets
under $100,000. The Foundation also funds the distribution of social
issue media, including films, videos, radio programs, compact discs,
vinyl records and books.
Please take a moment to think about whom among your networks of friends and colleagues might be interested in an RFP (Request for Proposal). Copies of the granting guidelines may be obtained by visiting our website, http://www.agapefdn.org, clicking on Grants & Loans, then on Board of Trustees Grants, Guidelines, or by calling 415/701-8707. If you have any questions about our funding priorities or application process, please feel free to call us at 415/701-8707.
