Tonight, at 7:00 p.m., the Berkeley City Council will meet and issue a proclamation honoring Cindy Sheehan and declaring June 27th to be "Cindy Sheehan Day." Among other things, the proclamation will recognize Cindy for her noteworthy accomplishments in the peace movement. It is anticipated that Cindy will speak at the event.

The Berkeley City Council meets at 2134 Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, Berkeley, CA. Tonight's meeting will be open to the public and will likely be heavily attended.
