Arty Mangan, served on the Santa Cruz County Genetic Engineering Subcommittee. He started a fresh organic apple juice business in Santa Cruz in 1978 and since 1998 has been the Food and Farming Program Director for the Collective Heritage Institute which produces the Bioneers Conference.
