SF Journalist Fights Against Use of Uranium Weaponry

San Francisco Bay View Correspondent Bob Nichols is a long-
time activist against the illegal use of radiological weapons. They
were given the name DU (depleted uranium) by the military in the
'40s in an attempt to cover up their true destructiveness. Mr. Nichols
actually worked at a munitions factory before becoming a journalist,
and he has researched and written about them for years. He is currently
writing a book based on 15 years of nuclear war in Central Asia. For
his writings he is the recipient of the Project Censored Award and he
frequently teams up with famed scientist/whistleblower Leuren Moret
and several other activists to speak about the global horrors of the
illegal use of these evil weapons.

He and Ms. Moret will be on a live show tonight from 7PM to 10PM
along with two Veterans, the wife of a Veteran who died in '96, and
several others to discuss this horrible situation.
