EFF's suit against AT&T for allegedly forwarding domestic Internet and phone traffic in bulk to the NSA is being heard in Courtroom 6 of the US District Courthouse at 450 Golden Gate Ave (right next to Civic Center downtown).
May 17 at 10am is the hearing to decide if the evidence brought forward by former AT&T employee(s) should remain secret or if it should be entered into the public court record. This is separate from the June 21 hearing to cover the government's motion dismiss the case under State's Secret Privilege.
As of 8am May 16th, the EFF reported no indication that the court would be closed to anyone and that requests to attend were very numerous. However, at 2:32pm on May 16, AT&T filed a last minute request to hold a conference call to discuss keeping the public out of the courthouse. The results of this conference call have not yet been made public.
