Resisting Military Recruiting: Oakland Military Recruiting Center Shut Down
Starting with a rally near Oakland's Civic Center, protesters marched down Broadway to 21st street where they blockaded the Oakland Military Recruiting Center -- Pasting signs with statements such as "Resist don't Enlist" and "Army of None" to the windows of the center.

At twilight, the military recruiters will still out there busily trying to remove all the posters from their "career center". This healthy exercise made a good break from their usual sedentary occupation, so I think we may pride ourselves on increasing the readiness and ability of these recruiters to volunteer for frontline duty.
