by south bay @
An independent grouping of youth, leftists, and indigenists helped put together a Youth Contingent in the May Day march. Here are some photos of their May Day!

Unconditional Amnesty!
No borders!
No deportation!
No detention!
No "Guest Worker" program!
No State Terrorism!

Our power is in our ability to walkout, strike, and disrupt this system. If we can make it cost prohibitive for the government and the bosses to mistreat any of us, then they will have to treat all of us better.

In the words of the Chican Punk band "Threat to the System":
"Which is stronger
Your dignity
or your fear!?!"

Check http://www.deletetheborder.org for more information about the struggle for dignity and respect for all workers.

Oh yeah, May Day celebrates the sacrifices of the Haymarket martyrs who died for the 1886 Mayday General Strike for the 8 Hour Day! I had almost forgotten... never forget that May Day started here, in Chicago and we are the only country on earth not to celebrate it. Instead we have \"Flag Day\".
