PRESS RELEASE:
Pacific Fine Arts, a producer of California’s highest quality art festivals since 1980, kicks off its festival season with the 18th Annual “West Portal Fine Arts and Crafts Show”. San Francisco’s West Portal Avenue is a unique shopping district, lined with a variety of retail stores, restaurants, bookshops, coffeehouses, arthouse movie theatre, a record store, and so much more. The three-day event will be held Friday, April 21 through Sunday, April 23 from 10am to 5pm each day along West Portal Ave between Ulloa and 14th Ave.

The show is free to the public and sponsored by the West Portal Avenue Association and Century 21 Scott Keys Properties. Local residents and tourists alike will flock to admire the works of 75 artists. Patrons can enjoy everything from photography, paintings, whimsical clothing and accessories, handmade bath and beauty products, fun and educational toys, and much more.

In addition to the wonderful arts and crafts on display, this year’s fair will feature live bluegrass and old-time music brought to you by Shelby Ash Presents. On Saturday 22, performers include Grizzly Peak (bluegrass) and the Mercury Dimes (old-time). Julay Brandenburg & The Nightbirds (bluegrass) will perform on Sunday 23 followed by the Barefoot Nellies (bluegrass). The stage will be located in the courtyard just left of The Music Store (66 West Portal). Music starts at noon. Lawn chairs welcome.
