Avalon is the Inner Temple of the Celtic and British Mysteries, a landscape of the soul, a country of the heart. It is the land which the poet and mystic see in vision, where the artist and musician find inspiration; a timeless land of power and mystery that offers initiation and enlightenment to all those that embark upon the inner voyage.

The Mysteries of Avalon encompass the wisdom of the Goddess and the Sacred Land, the power of Arthur and Merlin, and the Quest for the Holy Grail. We will contact these forces and intelligences by working with the Three Arts of Sacred Magic: Ritual, Meditation and the VisionJourney, finely-tuned energies and tools that will enable us to access deeper meaning in our own lives, plus the power to effect positive spiritual changes in the world.

MARA FREEMAN is from Britain and is the founder and director of the Avalon Mystery School. She is an initiate of the Western magical arts, a Druid and a seer, and has taught Celtic and British sacred and magical traditions for over twenty years. Mara is author of many published articles and recordings, and the book: Kindling the Celtic Spirit, (Harper 2001.)
