UCSC student arrested and taken into a classroom for taking pictures!! Here he is doing an interview right after his release. A release that was prompted by the demanding voices of support from students who gathered right outside the College Eight building to demand a release.

so which high level admin is trying to crush student rights this time? the same ones who had police attack students last year?

§berkeley cops?

As far as I know it was the Berkeley cops that made the arrest - don't know if any admins were behind it. However, the admins have been making statements in favor of the arrest, including outright lies (such as Liz Irwin telling CBS that the student who was arrested threw a rock).
