FRESH - Live Auction Event
Hosted by Visual Aid and The Academy of Friends
$25 admission, no advance ticket sales, Walk ins welcome.
Please join us at FRESH, a lively art auction and fundraiser benefiting Visual Aid's programs for artists with life-threatening illnesses, and the Academy of Friends, helping HIV/AIDS service organizations.
The event begins with a preview party featuring the fabulous and funky DJ Christopher B, specialty cocktails, wine and light hors d'oeuvres, followed by a riveting, live art auction of 40+ works of art donated by well-known local artists, luxury items such as hotel stays, jewelry and more donated by local merchants.
Check out the artwork and items for sale, have a glass of wine, then relax and put yourself in the capable hands of our charming and knowledgeable auctioneer, Stephen Tourell of Toomey-Tourell Fine Art as he guides you through a fun evening of thrilling art sales.
Challenge yourself to up your bids and donations, as all proceeds will benefit organizations serving people with HIV/AIDS, Breast Cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
Sometimes provocative, always exciting, this year's artwork selection features paintings, sculpture, prints and photographs that range from cool and delicious, to vibrant pop. The items were donated by top local artists, collectors and galleries.
