ROOT DIVISION PRESENTS “TASTE” — MASTER CULINARY AND VISUAL ARTISTS PREPARE AN EXCLUSIVE FOOD AND ART EVENT
On April 20, 2006, 7 p.m.–11 p.m. at 3175 Seventeenth Street (at Shotwell), Root Division a non-profit arts organization, will host an evening celebrating the unique beauty of art and food in San Francisco. The night will feature an array of daring culinary delights and innovative original art by local artists. All accompanied by the smooth jazz sounds of SF JAZZ Youth Program.
“Taste” will feature acclaimed local chefs and exceptional visual artists for a night of inspired food, drink, and art. This event promises to satisfy all the senses.
Tickets are $50 per person pre-sale, available online at http://www.rootdivision.org or by phone at 415.863.7668. Tickets will also be available at the door for $60 per person. Creative cocktail attire is encouraged. This is a passed appetizer and cocktail event only.

Root Division provides affordable studio space to artists, free art education to low-income students in San Francisco public schools, unique low-cost art classes for adults, and exciting events featuring Bay Area art and artists.

Root Division participants are professional working artists who value and support an interactive peer community by providing free art classes to low-income children and facilitate adult art classes. Participants also design and produce annual and monthly events that inspire the local art audience, and provide revenue that supports Root Division’s facilities and education programs.
