Event: Fair trade, micro-credit, micro-enterprise, co-operatives—terms commonly used in discussions of economic development and income generation. Yet, achieving long-lasting change consists of more than just providing a loan to an individual or community. The challenge of sustainable development is for everyone involved in an enterprise to add value and receive benefit. Our panelists will consider methods of income generation, focusing on their experiences in Latin America, Asia and Africa.
