Neo-Con Jobs- Iraq, 9-11

There are many strategies to oppose war, and just a few strategies to sell them. Historically, the United States has manufactured, or provoked incidents in order to whip up popular support for war. Roosevelt went through an eight point plan to provoke the Japanese into attacking Pearl Harbour. President Johnson knew that the Gulf of Tonkin incident never happened, but he went along with the ruse to get authorization for use of military force in Southeast Asia. The babies thrown out of incubator story that launched the first Gulf War, was a ten million dollar media campaign which included the daughter of the Kuwait Ambassador.

The most scandalous ruse of all, 9-11, cost thousands of lives, and was the “catastrophic and catalyzing event, like a new Pearl Harbor” that the Project for a New American Century called for in their quest for global domination, and the dismantling of democracy in the U.S.. 9-11 was the pretext for the world’s wealthiest country to attack the world’s poorest country, to install a puppet regime that would allow the construction of a pipeline and the looting of the region’s resources, including the lucrative heroine production.

9-11 was also used to sell the war on Iraq, repeatedly. The links were made and sold by the ever compliant, military cheerleaders, known as the mainstream press, despite the absolute lack of evidence or connection between Saddam Hussein and Al Qaeda. Tragically, ninety percent of the soldiers in Iraq, still think Saddam Hussein had something to do with 9-11. They have been conned, neo-conned.

Until the American people wake up to the lies sold to them on a daily basis, they will be manipulated into war after war.

The mission of the Northern California 9-11 Truth Alliance is-

“ to seek and disseminate truths about the terrible crimes committed on September 11, 2001, exposing gaps and deceptions in the official story, and to thus inspire more eyewitness revelations, truthful media coverage, and a movement that will bring the responsible criminals to justice and eliminate governmental and corporate policies that enable criminal elements to commit such acts."

More broadly, by exposing the ruses used to sell war, we hope to stop all wars.

On March 18th, at the Civic Center, we will gather at the 9-11 table near the Deception Dollar Banner at 10:00 a.m.. We have a sound system, T-shirts, signs, Deception Dollars, and we welcome all people who wish to join our contingent. We have a few chants, but welcome singers, speakers, and more chants. My favorite is-

"9-11 was an inside job,
Orchestrated by the Cheney mob.

"9-11 was a special op
Only Justice, gonna make them stop."

One of the most eloquent speakers for 9-11 ruth is David Ray Griffin, author of The New Pearl Harbor, and the 9-11 Commission Report- Omissions and Distortions. He will be speaking at 3 events at the end of March/beginning of April in the Bay Area, we will have leaflets on the upcoming David Ray Griffin and other 9-11 events.
