Trip the Light Fantastic exhibition dancing, MC Alma, guest DJ, special performances by HOT erotic performer Veronica Combs, HOT butch stripper Mocachino, and drag King Mikey Mike (King Kaliente 2005), great dance music, singles mingle, raffle prizes, and more!

Trip the Light Fantastic, a dance group based in Oakland, is training more than 30 dancers to compete in Gay Games VII (Chicago) and Out Games 2006 (Montreal). Gay Games will bring together 12,000 participants and 100,000 spectators from more than 70 countries. Our fundraising effort is aimed at assisting participants with registration fees, airfare, and accommodations. Trip the Light Fantastic has weekly Friday night dances and Monday night dance classes. Butch/Femme Socials of San Francisco & Oakland is a social group that meets in SF and Oakland at local bars and other venues for meet and greets, at clubs for dancing monthly, and at leather events. We host game nights, movie nights and some clean sober events.
Our events are open to ALL. You do not have to identify as butch or femme but most of us do. Most of us are single though couples are welcome and plentiful. The age range is 21 to 65 (really). The group is made up of artists, writers, academics, blue collar, leather, professionals, students, etc. We are ethnically, spiritually, politically and sexually diverse.
