Cutting Ball, a San Francisco based experimental theater company now residing at Modern Times, is renowned for its unique creative productions and re-visioned classics that emphasize language and images, promising sensational experiences for all. In March, Cutting Ball presents us with a tale of sado-masochistic lust, betrayal, and a bloody pact that engulfs a virginal anti-heroine and the men who would deflower her. This lurid classic of revenge tragedy explores the violent legacy of gender/class strictures and sexual repression. The play is written by Thomas Middleton and William Rowley and is directed by William Selig.
