Unionists and Feminists Resist Free Trade in Central
America
Hear firsthand accounts of the ongoing fight against CAFTA and privatization. Speakers: Marina Preza, co-founder of El Salvador Radical Women and Salvador Duarte, former General Secretary of the National Union of Transport Industry Workers in El Salvador.
The event begins at 7:30pm on Saturday, February 4 at New Valencia Hall, 1908 Mission Street in San Francisco (between 16th and 15th streets).
Door donation is $2.00, and a scrumptious Salvadorian supper, with vegetarian option, will be served for an $8.50 donation at 6:00pm. All welcome. For more information, phone 415-864-1278.
