One block from Broadway, 19th Street BART, and the 40/43 bus
For the first time in several years, PARC is updating the resource
directory we send to thousands of incarcerated people and family members.
Please join us on our monthly workday to respond to prisoner inquiries
and hear reportbacks on ongoing campaigns.
PLEASE NOTE: PARC needs help researching and verifying contact information
for groups to be published in the directory. This is simple work you can
do at home; a couple hours/week and an Internet connection is all you
need. We can email you sheets of groups by state, and all you need to do
is a) check their websites to verify contact info, and/or b) Google them
to see if they have websites. If you can help PARC complete this important
project, please email aaron@prisonactivist.org with "verify directory" in
the subject line. Also, if you have seen good regional
directories--Western Prison Project publishes a good directory for the
West Coast (exc. Cali), Books 4 Prisoners Crew in Cincinnati publishes a
good Midwest directory, etc.--please send PARC contact info and a copy, if
possible.
Thanks for all you do!
