Beatrecords Productions Presents JULES BROUSSARD
Master Sax man Jules Broussard returns to San Francisco with his Swinging 6 piece Band
Mike Shapiro Band opens with Rock and Retro
Sunday, January 15, 2006 4PM-8PM
JULES BROUSSARD, is well-known for his unique saxophone style. Born in Louisiana, his music took him on the road at a young age. After bopping about, "He chose the Bay Area for studio and stage with such luminaries as Ray Charles, Boz Scaggs, Van Morrison, Carlos Santana, Earl Grant, Elvin Bishop, Art Garfunkel and Doctor Hook."

MIKE SHAPIRO grew up on the Peninsula, writing, recording, and performing in Garage bands heavily influenced by the British. He had a hit record with William Penn and his Pals at a young age and has been working it ever since. He plays guitar for a lot of bands, but given the choice, he likes to weave his way between the blues and old-school rock.
